Opposition Raises Slogans During President’s Address Amid NEET Controversy
Among other issues, the opposition raised slogans during the President’s address in Parliament, particularly when the President touched on the ongoing controversy surrounding the NEET examination.

During the President’s address in Parliament, opposition members raised slogans in protest. The disruptions intensified when the President mentioned the Emergency, referring to it as “the biggest and darkest chapter of direct attack on the Constitution,” noting that “the entire country plunged into chaos during Emergency, but our nation was victorious against such unconstitutional powers.”
The opposition’s objections continued when the President addressed the controversy surrounding the NEET examination. “Sanctity and transparency are a must in government recruitments and examinations. The cases of paper leaks and irregularities in exams are being probed at a high level. The investigation into it will fix accountability. We need to rise above partisan politics,” President Murmu said.
The opposition’s persistent sloganeering highlighted their discontent with the government’s handling of these sensitive issues.The opposition also raised slogans when the President discussed the government’s efforts to remove AFSPA from some disputed areas and resolve other disputes through agreements.
