Tejasvi Surya Condemns Aaditya Thackeray’s Push to Make Belagavi a Union Territory
On Monday, Thackeray wrote to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, requesting the state assembly to pass a resolution declaring Belagavi and Karwar as Union Territories to protect the rights of Marathi-speaking people in the region. He condemned the Karnataka government’s actions, including denying permission for a General Conference of the Maharashtra Integration Committee in Belagavi and imposing a curfew, calling it an injustice to Marathi people.
