Supreme Court to Hear NEET UG 2024 Pleas Amid Controversy
The Supreme Court will examine a series of petitions on Monday calling for the re-conduct of NEET-UG 2024 due to alleged paper leaks and other malpractices. This hearing is crucial for the over 2.3 million candidates who took the exam. The integrity of the all-India medical entrance examination and the responses from the Union government and the National Testing Agency (NTA), which oppose a re-exam, will be scrutinized by a three-judge bench. The bench is headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud and includes Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra.
