Dhurandhar 2 OTT Release: Raw & Uncut Version Show Extra Gore

The ‘Raw & Uncut’ edition reportedly features extra gore and extended action.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, popularly known as Dhurandhar 2, has finally made its OTT debut internationally —
and audiences are stunned by the film’s much darker “Raw & Uncut” version. The extended cut, now streaming
overseas on Netflix, reportedly contains several violent sequences that were either trimmed or completely
removed from the theatrical release shown in Indian cinemas.

According to multiple reports and fan reactions circulating online, the OTT edition features additional
scenes packed with brutal combat, graphic beheadings, uncensored bloodshed, and extended action
moments that intensify the already controversial spy-thriller.

What’s Different in the OTT ‘Raw & Uncut’ Version?

The international streaming release has been rebranded as Dhurandhar: The Revenge – Raw & Uncut
(also called Raw & Undekha in some regions). Reports suggest the OTT runtime is slightly longer
than the theatrical version and includes footage removed during certification by India’s censor board.

Extra Scenes Reportedly Added in OTT Version:

  • Extended hand-to-hand combat sequences
  • Graphic beheading scenes
  • More visible blood and gore effects
  • Longer interrogation and torture sequences
  • Uncensored abusive dialogues
  • Additional war-zone massacre visuals
  • Violent football sequence involving a severed head
  • Expanded climax action scenes with higher brutality

Several viewers on social media described the OTT cut as “far more visceral and disturbing”
compared to the theatrical edition screened in India.

Where Is Dhurandhar 2 Streaming?

International audiences can already stream the extended version on Netflix from May 14–15,
depending on the region. Meanwhile, the Indian OTT release is expected on JioHotstar,
although the official date has not yet been announced. Reports claim the Indian version may retain
the censored theatrical cut approved by the CBFC.

Ranveer Singh’s Film Continues Massive Success Run

Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, Dhurandhar: The Revenge
has become one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of 2026. The film reportedly crossed ₹1800 crore
globally and sparked intense debate over its violence, political undertones, and action-heavy storytelling.

The film also stars R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles.

Fans React to the OTT Cut

The uncensored version has triggered mixed reactions online. While hardcore action fans praised the
makers for releasing the “complete vision” of the film, others criticized the extreme violence and
disturbing imagery.

Some viewers called the OTT edition:

“One of the most brutal Indian action films ever released online.”

Others argued that the removed scenes explain why the theatrical version felt comparatively toned down.
